Big Tom’s home from Little China
It was reported today that our erstwhile drummer has returned from his big Chinese project.
Due to the confidentiality of his visit I can’t say much about what he’s been up to apart from to say that he has been stunt-doubling for a famous Hollywood star in the Chinese remake of a musical that is set in a high school. Tom really hit it off with his Hollywood doppleganger who we will call “Jack Smefron” for confidentiality reasons, Mr Smefron said of Our Tom:
“When I found out that they had replaced the basketball sub-plot of the film with underground bare-knuckle knife-fighting I was really glad they got some British guy who looked like me to get stabbed over and over again.”
Tom has recovered well from the gruelling (and somewhat stabby) shoots and as a bonus he now has enough transfused chinese blood in him to claim citizenship when he returns for the remake of the sequel which at the moment has the working title of “High School The Musical 2: Chainsaw Sophomore.”
